New technologies and organizations’ practices are regularly placing pressures and challenges on our privacy and transparency rights. This month, Civic Tech Toronto and the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario are highlighting the work to defend, enforce, explain and update these rights.

This talk will present on a recent joint brief published by the Citizen Lab and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, which analyzed the privacy and human rights implications of Bill C-22: An Act respecting lawful access.
