Anisha Malde (Amazon) - The “state” of React Native: 2024 edition
Over the last decade years, React and therefore React Native has evolved from the days of prop drilling to the current era of state management with hooks (thank god!). In this talk, we will explore the tools beyond React Context for handling state management in 2024. We'll also address common challenges in state management from "Zombie children" to the infamous "Loss of Context" issue. In addition, we'll delve into the practical side of "thinking in React" and discuss how to be intentional with state organisation and optimising data flow between components.
