PyData Madrid vuelve en abril para hablar de Python, Datos, Visualización, Inteligencia Artificial, ¡Y lo que surja!
La reunión se realizará en las instalaciones de Zooplus (Génova 17), quienes generosamente nos ceden su espacio.
Tendremos el placer de contar con dos charlas:
- Daniel Ruiz (18:45-19:15), Lead Data Scientist en WhiteBox, presentará el modelo de IA para predicción de consumo de combustible para aviones que quedó en el top 5 en el PRC Data Challenge 2025 (en español).
- Óscar Llorente (19:30-20:00), Staff Data Scientist en Ericsson, hablará de técnicas modernas para explicabilidad de modelos de IA basados en PyTorch (en español).
Después de la reunión, nos quedaremos en las oficinas de Zooplus para hacer networking.
Recomendaciones generales:
- ¿Sabes mucho de Python y Datos? ¿Sabes poco y quieres saber más? ¡En ambos casos, te damos la bienvenida!
- Aplica "la regla del comecocos": si estás en un círculo, deja siempre un hueco para que otra persona se pueda unir.
- Puede haber asistentes que no hablen bien español y que se manejen mejor en inglés. Sé paciente y ¡No dejes que se aburran!

PyData Madrid returns in April to talk about Python, Data, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and whatever else comes up!
The event will take place at Zooplus (Génova 17), who generously provides us with a venue.
This time, we are excited to present these two talks:
- Daniel Ruiz (18:45-19:15), Lead Data Scientist at WhiteBox, will show the AI model for fuel consumption prediction for airplanes that ranked in the top 5 at the PRC Data Challenge 2025 (in Spanish).
- Óscar Llorente (19:30-20:00), Staff Data Scientist at Ericsson, will talk about modern explainability techniques for AI models based on PyTorch (in Spanish).
After the meeting, we will stay in Zooplus's offices to do some networking.
General recommendations:
- Are you an expert in Python and Data? Are you a beginner and want to learn more? In both cases, you are very welcome!
- Apply the "Pac-man rule": if you're in a circle, leave a gap so that someone else can join.
- If you don't speak good Spanish, we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. But be mindful that other attendees might want to use their native language in larger conversations. Use this opportunity to practice your Spanish! If you are bored, feel free to approach the organizers and say «Hi!»
