PyData Madrid vuelve en noviembre para hablar de Python, Datos, Visualización, Inteligencia Artificial, ¡Y lo que surja!

Este mes el evento se realizará en las instalaciones de TomTom (Edificio Aqua, Calle de Agustin de Foxa, 4), que generosamente nos ceden el espacio.

Esta es la agenda del día:

• Apertura de puertas y bienvenida (18:30-19:15)
• Aziz el Kadi y Angelo Volpe (19:15-19:45), Data scientists en TomTom, nos contarán como mejoran la creación de rutas para hacerlas más rápidas y seguras y como escalan los modelos que usan para resolver este tipo de problemas. Girar o no girar: esa es la cuestión (en español).
• Alejandro Cárabe (20:00-20:30), Data Scientist en TMC, nos contará un caso de uso de scraping para extraer datos de portales inmobiliarios, incluyendo una demo en directo de Scrapy (en español)

Después de la reunión, nos quedaremos en las instalaciones de TomTom a hacer networking.

• ¿Sabes mucho de Python y Datos? ¿Sabes poco y quieres saber más? ¡En ambos casos, te damos la bienvenida!
• Aplica "la regla del comecocos": si estás en un círculo, deja siempre un hueco para que otra persona se pueda unir.
• Puede haber asistentes que no hablen bien español y que se manejen mejor en inglés. Sé paciente y ¡No dejes que se aburran!

PyData Madrid returns in November to talk about Python, Data, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and whatever else comes up!

This month the event will take place at TomTom (Edificio Aqua, Calle de Agustin de Foxa 4), who generously provides us with a venue.

• Aziz el Kadi and Angelo Volpe (19:15-19:45), Data scientists at TomTom, will tell us how they improve route creation to make them faster and safer, and how they scale the models they use to solve this type of problem. To turn or not to turn: that is the question (in Spanish).
• Alejandro Cárabe (20:00-20:30), Data Scientist at TMC, will tell us about how to use scraping to extract data from real estate portals, including a live demo of Scrapy (in Spanish)

After the meeting, we will stay for networking in the facilities within the same space.

General recommendations:

• Are you an expert in Python and Data? Are you a beginner and want to learn more? In both cases, you are very welcome!
• Apply the "Pac-man rule": if you're in a circle, leave a gap so that someone else can join.
• If you don't speak good Spanish, we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. But be mindful that other attendees might want to use their native language in larger conversations. Use this opportunity to practice your Spanish! If you are bored, feel free to approach the organizers and say «Hi!»
