PyData Madrid returns on November 12 to talk about Python, data, artificial intelligence, and whatever else comes up!

This month, we will meet at JetBrain’s offices (Paseo de la Castellana 43). Many thanks to JetBrains for generously hosting us!

We are excited to present two talks:

  • Cristina Márquez will talk about how to apply AI to build virtualized 5G networks (in Spanish)
  • Cheuk Ting Ho (Developer Advocate @ JetBrains) will dissect the debate on whether AI is sentient, the ethical and regulatory challenges that arise, and the phenomenon of "seeing Jesus on toast" applied to AI (in English).

After the event, we will stay in the area for networking.

General recommendations:

  • Are you an expert in Python and data? Are you a beginner eager to learn more? Either way, you are very welcome!
  • Apply the “Pac-Man rule”: if you are standing in a circle, leave a gap so someone else can join.
  • Some attendees may be more comfortable speaking English than Spanish. Be patient and make sure everyone feels included!

PyData events follow a Code of Conduct. In brief: be kind, refrain from insults and sexist, racist, or otherwise exclusionary jokes, and do not make sexual advances towards other attendees.
