El evento se realizará en The Bridge (Paseo de Recoletos, 15), que generosamente ha cedido su espacio.

Tendremos el placer de contar con dos charlas:

• Alejandro Vidal (18:45-19:30) nos hablará sobre su desarrollo de una feature store en Python, las herramientas usadas para ello y por qué las alternativas actuales no encajaban con su propósito (en español).
• Ignacio Peletier y Jesús López (19:45-20:30) nos hablarán sobre métodos psicométricos para evaluar el nivel de inglés (en español).

Después de la reunión, nos iremos a un bar cercano para hacer networking.

Recomendaciones generales:

• ¿Sabes mucho de Python y Datos? ¿Sabes poco y quieres saber más? ¡En ambos casos, te damos la bienvenida!
• Aplica "la regla del comecocos": si estás en un círculo, deja siempre un hueco para que otra persona se pueda unir.
• Puede haber asistentes que no hablen bien español y que se manejen mejor en inglés. Sé paciente y ¡no dejes que se aburran!

PyData Madrid returns in October to talk about Python, Data, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and whatever else comes up!

This month is special because it's the first meetup co-organized with the MLOps Community Madrid team. (Please sign up either for our event or theirs on Luma)

We will have the pleasure of featuring two talks:

• Alejandro Vidal (18:45-19:30) will talk about his development of a feature store in Python, the tools used for it, and why current alternatives didn't fit his purpose (in Spanish).
• Ignacio Peletier and Jesús López (19:45-20:30) will discuss psychometric methods to evaluate English proficiency (in Spanish).

After the meeting, we will go to a nearby bar for networking.

General recommendations:

• Do you know a lot about Python and Data? Do you know little and want to learn more? In both cases, you are very welcome!

• There may be attendees who do not speak Spanish well and are more comfortable in English. Be patient and don't let them get bored!
