Ready to join in on the fun?

Svelte Society is back in Stockholm, and this time we're hosted by Endra. Endra is building a generative platform for MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) engineering, with Svelte 5 on the frontend.
Our headline talk comes from Svelte maintainer Stanislav Khromov, who will show gpuix-svelte. It's a new custom renderer that takes ordinary Svelte components and turns them into native desktop apps. Expect live demos and a look at how the renderer works under the hood.
There will be food and drinks, plus plenty of time to hang out and talk Svelte with the community.
Agenda
[17:30] Doors open, food & drinks
[18:30] Welcome from Svelte Society & Endra
[18:40] gpuix-svelte: Native apps from Svelte components by Stanislav Khromov
[19:20] Second talk: Dependencies in the AI era - do we even need them?
[19:45] Mingle until doors close
Presentations
Stanislav K
What if your Svelte components rendered straight to the GPU instead of the DOM? gpuix-svelte is a Svelte custom renderer for GPUI, the GPU-accelerated UI framework behind the Zed editor. It produces native desktop windows from ordinary Svelte components, with no webview involved.
