Supercharge Your Core Web Vitals With Qwik👉🏽 Web Vitals is a Google initiative introduced in 2020 that aims to provide developers with guidance on authoring the best user experience on the web, as well as tools to assess and measure it. Core Web Vitals are a subset of Web Vitals and currently consist of three main metrics:LCP: Largest Contentful Paint
FID: First input Delay
CLS: Cumulative Layout shift
After March 2024:
INP: Interaction to Next Paint
Not only are these Metrics important for your users but they are also essential in your Search Ranking. Google is reflecting these metrics in its search ranking algorithm as it wants to provide its users with quality content (websites with Great UX).
In this talk, we will look into Core Web Vitals, explain each of them, and look into the changes that are going to happen in
March 2024. We will then see statistics about websites passing the Core Web Vitals and how companies were able to increase sales by working on those metrics. We will then explore Qwik and how it manages to improve your core web vitals and performance by default. We will explain the difference between resumability and hydration and help you supercharge your Core Web Vitals with little effort.
