Join us for Hacktoberfest 2026 as we explore the power, resilience, and future of open source AI.
With AI now a central part of how products get built, relying entirely on proprietary systems leaves us all exposed to sudden changes in pricing, policy, and access. Open innovation gives us a transparent, resilient foundation to build on.
This year, Hacktoberfest is not about counting PRs, it is about empowering everyone to experiment and build with open artificial intelligence. Whether you want to write your first open source skills.md file, build your own agent, fine tune an open weight model, or simply follow your curiosity, this event is designed to meet you wherever you are in your journey.

The venue requires that each attendee's **full name (first and last)** is clearly visible on their RSVP.
The venue require all attendees to bring Government issued ID and for the name on the ID to match that given when signing up for the session and we strongly encourage you to arrive early, between 17:30-17:55.
